In the city of Otavalo, in the province of Imbabura, there is one of the largest indigenous markets in the country, known as “Plaza de Ponchos”. This is a colorful and fantastic place where you can find countless crafts, mostly marketed by the Kichwa population of the province. Some of its products include ponchos, scarves, embroidered blouses, pants, cushions, alpaca wool fabrics, sheep wool fabrics, tapestries, gloves, hats, musical instruments and much more. This fair takes place every day, but its peak and busiest days are Wednesdays and Saturdays. This is, without a doubt, a must-see destination in Ecuador, be sure to visit it.

Sports in my community

Soccer, boly, indor and basketball are practiced in my community

These sports can be practiced from children to the elderly. And women also practice these sports since it is very healthy for people, people who cannot do these sports, do knitting, especially women and men play other activities in their free time
